Gone

If you haven't noticed already, I'm not on as much as I used to be. I just don't find buzznet as entertaining as I used to. I might check in from time to time, but I probably won't be posting. Where Has Time Gone?

It seems like only yesterday when I was getting on a plane to leave the continent for the first time. It was three years ago. Now there's a week until I leave for Europe. It's as though no time has passed since I sprained my ankle in pre-school, but here I am, almost halfway through high school. It feels like I just joined buzznet to make the popups telling me to join go away, even though that was exactly one year ago. Interests change. Friends drift apart. Ambitions are born and die. Things happen. Life happens. Why must the world go into hyperspeed?

What would you like to know?

If any of you would like to know anything about me (my views, personal info, etc.) please ask me. I will most likely answer and I won't give you any bullshit, although I reserve the right to not answer questions that I find offensive or too personal. Sorry about the second one, but it's the internet and we don't know who's out there, and I'm not stupid. I may even put the responses in videos, depending on how well I can get it to work. Thank you to all of the people who actually are interested in me and don't add me just so they can have lots of friends or ask me to buzz their post. Kind of off subject, I know, but the people who actually care are the ones who will be reading this.

Has Anyone Else Noticed This?

Has anyone noticed that in most action/adventure movies, the bad guy is British? I don't think that's fair to Brits. This means that a lot of actors are probably typecast as villains just because of their accent. Even when the character isn't British, like Hans Gruber* in Die Hard, the casting people have a British actor to play them! Does this bug anyone else, or am I just out in my own little world?

*I have nothing against Die Hard or the character Hans Gruber. Quite the opposite, actually. Alan Rickman kicks ass.

FUCK!

Damn it! It's snowing! The weather has been so nice here and now it snows! Nature hates me, I swear. Oh, the reason for the title is because that's what I said when I looked out the window this morning.

On the completely unrelated subject of the "Survivalism" video: Why do they need so many people with guns just to take down five dudes in a band? And I'm not all that sad that Aaron North gets killed. Don't like him much.

Back to the snow thing: All of the snow that caused me to yell FUCK has melted but now what looks like table salt is falling from the sky. *sigh*

Birthday

On Monday, February 26, I will be another year closer to legal, even though the only thing I'm looking forward to is being able to vote. I'm very happy with my sign (pisces), being as I share it with some awesome people, including Kurt Cobain and Johnny Cash, and I actually do have most of the described characteristics (except for the shortness and the overtalkativeness). Happy birthday to all that share this day.

Hello to those who are bored enough to read this journal from a girl who is bored enough to write it. Hopefully you are not turning into ice cubes like me. For the record, the title really has nothing to do with anything, even though she is really freaky looking. I think she goes to the same plastic surgeon as her brother. On another, less nightmare inducing, subject, I get to write a research report on Morrisey. If you find the 47 year old British gentleman scarier than Wacko Jacko and his mutant kin, I suggest that you seek professional help. Tim Burton Movie Info

Tim Burton will be directing yet another movie starring Johnny Depp. The film is called Sweeney Todd, and it takes place in Victorian England. The story is about a wrongfully imprisoned barber who seeks revenge on the judge who sentenced him. The movie will also feature Helena Bonham Carter and Alan Rickman (who I love, by the way). Filming is set to begin in 2007. I, for one, am really fucking excited.
